In a significant initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to connect virtually with almost 50 lakh first-time voters from diverse corners of the country on Thursday. The interactive session, spanning over 5,000 locations nationwide, is organized by the BJP Yuva Morcha and coincides with National Voters’ Day. These enthusiastic young voters will have the opportunity to share their thoughts with the Prime Minister, expressing their excitement as they prepare to cast their votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections scheduled for April and May.

“They are very enthusiastic about electing Modi ji as prime minister for a third term,” BJP Yuva Morcha chief Tejasvi Surya said, underscoring the positive impact of Modi’s leadership on job opportunities for the country’s youth. He also mentioned that many first-time voters would have the opportunity to speak virtually with the PM.

“This is a historic event, as it marks the first time a Prime Minister will interact with young voters on such a scale. This interaction will undoubtedly boost the participation of first-time voters in elections and strengthen the foundation of our country’s democracy,” added Surya. Furthermore, he explained that this nationwide initiative, part of the party’s ‘Namo Navamatadata Sammelan,’ aims to engage and register new voters while fostering a stronger connection with the vibrant democracy of India.

“Our PM is a strong advocate for empowering the youth. He will address the sammelans, inspiring and encouraging first-time voters to make informed choices for a brighter India. The PM will also emphasize the importance of new voters in enhancing the party’s presence among them,” Surya said. He pointed out that the BJP Yuva Morcha is organising these events at 5,000 locations, each engaging a minimum of 1,000 new voters.
